演讲稿二:to be a good failure
hello, everyone ! my name is*** i’m from class 1, i’m very happy to stand here to give you my free-talk. today my topic is “to be a good failure”.
i believe everyone has experienced a lot . we have done good things and also bad things. when we do the bad things, we should not feel sad. we should learn from failure ,learn from every mistake and learn how to be a good loser. that’s what i'll be talking about today. that's our lesson to learn. let me tell you why.
first, losing is a part of life. it is unavoidable. it is something we all must face. everybody loses sometimes. every great person knows this truth. so don't be ashamed of losing. losing doesn't mean you're a loser.
second, don’t escape from it, just accept it. losing is beneficial and can be helpful to you. we just view it as a learning experience. losing is a chance to learn. you can learn how to try again and improve.
third, practice makes perfect. create challenges for yourself. never be afraid of failure. lose as much as you can. losing only makes you better. that is a great secret of success.
in conclusion, remember these. you will be a good loser. it might be painful at first. but it will get easier as you go along. you'll be respected and admired. you'll feel so achievement to learn so much. you are not the real failure ,you will be a winner in future.

today the topic of my impromtu speech is that when it is dark enough, you can see the stars. i can’t agree with this saying more. in my opinion, darkness is about the frustrations. “enough” is about the effort and the “stars” are the hopes, dreams or success. so this saying teaches me three things: making my objective and direction clear, being prepared for wrestling with frustrations and difficulties and importantly, keeping in faith. so, i have three points to support my opinion.
first, we should make our objective and direction clear before we set out. we can’t see the stars during the day time. is it because that there are no stars here? of cause not. the stars are over there in the sky all the time. we can’t see them because they are hidden behind the sunlignt. so, we shouldnot waste our time. rather, we should turn to the night to find our stars. so before we set out for our dreams. it’s very important to know what exactly we want and which direction to go to find it.
second, we should be prepared for wresting with frustrations and difficulties. we can’t expect that the way to our objective are smooth and easy. in the darkness, we may feel cold, lonely and be afraid of some unexpected frustrations, just as on the way to our dreams and success. but, only in darkness could we see the stars. similarly, only by experiencing harships and setbacks can we be clear about our goals and objectives. so, we should be not afraid of the difficulties we have to experience. rather, we should hold a positive attitude to fully prepared for them.
the last but not the least point is that we should keep in faith and don’t give up. sometime we may feel disappointed after having been working hard for such a long time but still can’t reach our dreams. but, we shouldn’t give up and instead we should just keep in faith. may be our efforts are not enough. we need to work hard and keep waiting for a little bit longer, and we will see the hope soon.
to conclude, if we choose the stars, we should be aware that we choose the darkness, too. if we want to enjoy the stars, make every efforts we can to defeat our fear to the darkness and keep in faith on ourselves. in the end, we will surly see our own stars.

don’t be frightened! when a bennington student, 10 minutes before you come up to the podium hands you a mace, that he made,
if you don’t bring it to the podium with you, you will never be bennington.

because my job needs me. and so many times, my mom or dad is sick in bed, but i cannot be there with them in time, just because my job needs me. i cannot fully devote myself to my family because my job needs me, a lot of people need me. and again, as a man with a family, how can that be easy?
even though i'm not competent as a father, a husband, and a son, i still love my family. my daughter once said that it was her happiest time to see me back from work. and it's the same with me. i'm pleased and grateful to see that my family can support and understand my work and my little devotion to them.
i have made many sacrifices as an air traffic controller. i really feel sorry for my family. but as i help pilots find their destinations under terrible weather conditions, and then hear “thanks” from them, i'm satisfied. and as i see planes taking off and landing safely, and make sure that hundreds more families can get together, i'm comforted. i even seem to be able to see the happy smiles on their faces.
such is my job, though i cannot enjoy much of the happiness my family brings to me, i can experience the sense of responsibility through my work. i'll never regret this, regret choosing my job. it is through these years that i know what responsibility and devotion really mean. and it is through these years that i realize what family really means to me---supporting and understanding. i really appreciate them.
with my family as an anchor for me, i firmly believe that i can overcome all the difficulties on my way, and make a contribution to the cause of air traffic control. and i believe, i am, and always will be a member of civil aviation, and my family as well.
that's all for my speech today, thank you very much for your listening.
